A recent survey by a reputed magazine, showed that women carry an awful lot of stuff in their bags. They also carry some very useful things in their bag! They found safety pins, band aids, cheque books and lots more. Lets rummage through and see what we come up with….

What should you really be carrying in your bag?

* Most girls carry make up with them. A lipstick, lip gloss, a kajal pencil / kohl stick and a small blusher are absolute must-haves. Touch up after college if you are off to a movie, lunch or a date.

* Got oily skin? Make sure you have some tissues in your bag. Dab your face with a tissue before you meet the guy of your dreams!

* Do you wear contact lenses? Then consider carrying your lens case, just in case you want to remove your lenses and give your tired eyes a break after long, hard day at college!

* How about carrying some mints or chewing gum in your handbag? Pop one to get that fresh taste, after a long day out!

* Make sure your hairbrush is in. Tame your wild mane and get that neat look.

* Mirror, mirror on the wall…yes, a small mirror is a must-have. You need it to check if you have chewed up your lipstick, whether your hair is n place or whether your lenses are intact.

* Remember to put in your wallet. Don’t stuff money into the various pockets of your handbag. You may never find it! Use your wallet to keep the cash as well as your credit / debit / ATM cards.

* Keys…yes, you need to carry the keys: car keys, house keys, cupboard keys…

* Make sure you have a small diary with important numbers (eg home, college, friends, Doctor etc).

* If you are carrying a diary, you certainly need a pen.

From time to time, remember to clean up and clear up your bag. Get rid of all the unnecessary bills, paper and junk. Carry only what you think you will need during the course of the day!
